Vaselinum Calendula - Vaseline with calendula extract. Tattoo Vaseline containing calendula extracts supporting skin regeneration. Calendula officinalis is part of the Asteraceae family and is said to have its historical roots in the North African Atlas Mountains.In Central Europe, calendula has been used since the 12th century. It is one of the best-known medicinal herbs and its various ingredients are used in many medical fields.
Active ingredients:
Calendula helps in healing and closing wounds and also promotes the growth of new cell tissue. It is also anti-inflammatory and is considered to be cleansing, reduces swelling and soothes pain.
Application during and after tattooing:
Vaseline is used during tattooing to maintain skin elasticity and to easily and gently remove excess tattoo ink. It can also be used as After Care. Vaseline has pharmacopoeial quality and meets the requirements of the DAB. It is recommended for medical purposes.
